How to convert WebP to AVIF

- Download the AVIF file and check its appearance in the app or website where you plan to use it.
Create an AVIF still image from WebP for a compatible website. Both the input and output may use lossy compression, so compare the result against the original before switching formats just to reduce file size.

AVIF output supports transparency and adjustable quality. Encoding runs in a local worker and may take longer on a phone. Check that the destination supports AVIF.
Original metadata is removed. Keep your original file if you need camera details, color profiles or an archival copy. Conversion does not guarantee a smaller download.
