How to convert ICO to JPG
- Choose a ICO file and wait for its preview to appear.
- JPG is already selected. Adjust the quality, then select Convert to JPG.
- Download the JPG file and check its appearance in the app or website where you plan to use it.
Extract the icon image decoded by your browser into a JPG for a document or upload form. Transparent icon backgrounds become white. This exports one image rather than every frame in the ICO file.

An ICO file can contain several image frames. Your browser selects the frame it decodes; the preview shows the image that will be converted, not every embedded size.
Your JPG result
JPG uses lossy compression. A higher quality setting keeps more visible detail, usually at a larger size. Transparent pixels are composited onto white.
Original metadata is removed. Keep your original file if you need camera details, color profiles or an archival copy. Conversion does not guarantee a smaller download.
