How to convert ICO to PNG

Extract a browser-decoded ICO image as PNG for editing while retaining its transparency. The browser chooses the source frame; this tool does not export all embedded icon sizes or reconstruct a larger original logo.

An ICO file can contain several image frames. Your browser selects the frame it decodes; the preview shows the image that will be converted, not every embedded size.
Your PNG result
PNG uses lossless output encoding and supports transparency. There is no quality slider. Lossless encoding does not recover information missing from the source file.
Original metadata is removed. Keep your original file if you need camera details, color profiles or an archival copy. Conversion does not guarantee a smaller download.
