How to convert HEIC to JPG
- Choose a HEIC or HEIF file and wait for its preview to appear.
- JPG is already selected. Adjust the quality, then select Convert to JPG.
- Download the JPG file and check its appearance in the app or website where you plan to use it.
Create a JPG copy of an iPhone photo for a form, email or editor that cannot read HEIC. This uses the primary still photo; keep the original for Live Photo motion, additional images and HDR information.
What changes in your image
Your HEIC file
HEIC and HEIF use the same converter here. Supported files are decoded on your device; unusual, incomplete or damaged HEIF variants may still fail. Only the primary still photo is used.
Your JPG result
JPG uses lossy compression. A higher quality setting keeps more visible detail, usually at a larger size. Transparent pixels are composited onto white.
Original metadata is removed. Keep your original file if you need camera details, color profiles or an archival copy. Conversion does not guarantee a smaller download.
