A photo looks fine on your phone, but the website you need to send it to will not accept HEIC. Minutil can create a JPG from the primary still photo directly in your browser. You do not need an account, and the selected photo is not sent to a processing server.

Use the tool link on this page, then select your HEIC or HEIF file. Wait for the image preview before choosing output settings.
Choose the quality
JPG is already selected. Start with the default quality setting; lower it only if you need a smaller file and the result still looks clear.
Create the result
Select Convert to JPG. Keep the page open while your device creates the new file.
Download and check
Save the finished image, open the downloaded JPG, and check its orientation, colors and important details. Try that copy in the destination website.
What the new file preserves
This tool creates a new still image. It uses the primary photo in HEIC/HEIF files; Live Photo motion and additional images are not included. Keep your original if you need those parts later.
JPG uses lossy compression. A higher quality setting can retain more visible detail, but it does not guarantee a smaller file than the original HEIC. Conversion also should not be treated as an archival copy of every item of camera metadata, color-profile information or HDR data.
When to use a different output format
For an already-transparent input, Minutil fills transparent areas with white when producing JPG. Choose PNG or another transparency-capable output when that background matters.
- JPG: a practical choice for a photograph when the receiving website asks for JPG or JPEG.
- PNG: useful when you need lossless output or transparency. A photo saved as PNG can be much larger.
- WebP or AVIF: options for web images when the destination explicitly accepts them. Compare the actual result rather than assuming one format always wins.
If the photo will not convert
- No preview: check that the file has finished downloading from your photo storage. A filename ending in .heic does not guarantee a complete, readable image.
- Unsupported or damaged image: export a fresh still copy from the app that can open the original. Renaming the extension to .jpg does not convert the file.
- Size or memory message: follow the limit shown by the tool. Try a smaller source or a device with more available memory; repeatedly submitting the same file does not reduce its memory needs.
