How to convert AVIF to JPG
- Choose a AVIF file and wait for its preview to appear.
- JPG is already selected. Adjust the quality, then select Convert to JPG.
- Download the JPG file and check its appearance in the app or website where you plan to use it.
Make an AVIF image usable in a service that asks for JPG or JPEG. Transparency becomes white, and the exported still image does not retain the original HDR or color-profile information. Compare colors in the destination app.
What changes in your image
Your AVIF file
AVIF input must be readable by your browser. Unsupported variants need a fresh export from an app that can open the original. This tool produces a still image and does not preserve HDR metadata.
Your JPG result
JPG uses lossy compression. A higher quality setting keeps more visible detail, usually at a larger size. Transparent pixels are composited onto white.
Original metadata is removed. Keep your original file if you need camera details, color profiles or an archival copy. Conversion does not guarantee a smaller download.
